2. Visiting this website

This website runs on our own virtual server. To deliver the website, the server infrastructure processes technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, time and requested resource. This processing supports the secure and reliable operation of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The beta application does not store IP addresses or browser identifiers. The web server is configured not to keep regular access logs. Technical operational and error logs may be needed for troubleshooting. They are limited through size-based rotation: a maximum of three files of 10 MB each per service. Older entries are automatically overwritten when this limit is reached.

3. Closed-beta waitlist

When you join the closed-beta waitlist, we store your email address, device selection (Android, iOS or both), registration time and the version of your consent. We use this data only to organise the closed beta and communicate about your application. No game account is created and you are not subscribed to a newsletter.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Active waitlist entries are automatically deleted from the production database 180 days after registration. You may withdraw your consent for the future and request deletion at any time by writing to the email address above. Processing carried out before your withdrawal remains lawful.

Technical backups are deleted after 30 days during the next successful daily backup run. They are kept in isolation and are not used for production purposes or for allocating beta invitations. Backups may contain entries already deleted from the production database until this backup rotation takes place; individual entries are not immediately deleted from existing backups.

Registration does not guarantee a test place. No automatic confirmation email is currently sent. If you receive an invitation later, we will use the email address you provided.

4. Hosting

We use Contabo GmbH, Aschauer Straße 32a, 81549 Munich, Germany, to operate the virtual server. The hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data to provide and secure the infrastructure. The provider’s privacy information is available at Contabo privacy notice.

5. No analytics or advertising services

This website uses no analytics or advertising trackers and sets no cookies to analyse your visit. Fonts, images and website files are loaded locally from our server. Animations respect your reduced-motion system setting, and effects can also be paused on the websites.

6. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your message and the information it contains to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual enquiries, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted when the enquiry is complete and no retention obligations apply.

We also operate our email mailbox on our own VPS. Technical mail logs may contain sender and recipient addresses and connection data; each mail service is limited to three log files of 5 MB each. Local mailbox backups are deleted after 30 days during the next successful daily backup run.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw any consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, please contact the controller named above. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, such as the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.

8. Scope

This notice covers the studio and game websites and the closed-beta waitlist. Separate notices will be provided for future use of the game and its location or account features.
